What would you do if you believed in yourself?

What would you accomplish if you knew you had everything you needed to succeed?

What impact would you have on your happiness, your community & your world if you stopped comparing yourself to others, stopped focusing on your shortcomings & STARTED LIVING AUTHENTICALLY & UNAPOLOGETICALLY?

Discovering your Strengths via the CliftonStrengths Assessment (Click HERE for more information) is the gateway to knowing who you are, why you do what you do & what you need to do to be happy & successful.

In my experience, it is the best path to self-acceptance, self-confidence, & truly understanding your intrinsic value.

Whether it’s to gain confidence, improve relationships, or success at work, Strengths provides the language & framework to show you how to approach life every day for the best outcomes.

Gallup research has shown that people that use their Strengths every day report more work happiness, less stress, less pain, fewer sick days, less turnover, higher productivity, higher profits, & higher well-being.

All good things & a must for any business that wants to see more profit & a more engaged workforce.

But what I love most about Strengths is that it heals the soul.

We are all carrying around un-truths; things people told us about ourselves that we decided to place on our backs & carry with us even though they are heavy & slow us down.

I remember that, when I was very young, I was constantly told I was too shy & needed to speak up. In my middle school years, it changed into being stuck-up. In high school, I was cold & aloof.

All of these labels perplexed me because I was just an introverted kid that preferred listening over speaking. I was polite to everyone & had a few good friends. I loved the performing arts, got good grades & was generally content.

What people saw as shy WAS ACTUALLY just my Intellection, Deliberative & Learner, observing, learning, & problem-solving.

What people saw as stuck up WAS ACTUALLY my Self-Assurance that didn’t need peer approval & my Relator that was content with only a few good friends.

What people saw was cold & aloof WAS ACTUALLY a person with a Top 10 that primarily happens in between my ears. Most of my Strengths are quiet & constantly thinking, calculating, observing, & mitigating risk.

Strengths gave me the language to rewrite the words I was carrying around with me.

I wasn’t too shy, I was thinking.

I wasn’t stuck up, I was selective.

I wasn’t cold, I was figuring out who I could trust.

I wasn’t aloof, I was just in my head.

Strengths changes how you view yourself & gives you the language to talk positively about your personality & attributes. It helps you recognize what is RIGHT about you & that it’s ok to be you.

Strengths helps you discover your talents in a way that gives you the confidence to be who you are & to take the risk to become more of that—to step into your zone of genius & claim your gifts.

Discovering your Strengths & then investing in them is going to make you admit you are amazing & believe it down to your very bones. And, as a lucky bonus, you’ll just happen to be more successful too.
